Yayyyy!!! I'm so so so happy because I have new awesome lens for my Sony Nex 5T which I've always been using to photograph Dash! (Camera isn't sponsored, not paid to write this) I love that camera to bits and it's really great for shooting kids because it has great focus and can do very quick consecutive shots for snapping like 300 pictures in a row if need be. Plus the camera comes with wifi (yay immediate upload to phone!) and the ability to add a filter to brighten up pictures.
This picture, for example, is taken with the pop filter and the brightness increased. Pictures look pretty amazing without any editing necessary!
@SonySingapore gave me new Zeiss 16-70 lens to attach to my Nex 5T and I love it! Since I only took some shots indoors I can't really tell a huge difference from the kit lens but I think in better lighting I'm gonna have super fantastic pics. I can't wait to bring Dash out and try! Having a good camera to keep all the memories of your child is an absolutely necessary investment.
One of my biggest regret in life is only using the iPhone to take Dash's pictures in the first few months of his life. Now the time has passed, he is no longer a wrinkly baby... And all I have to remember those precious moments are grainy phone pictures. I really really regret it. Not that the iPhone takes horrific pictures or anything, but the quality really cannot be compared to a semi-D. So... for everyone asking me what camera I use to shoot Dash... From this moment on the answer is Sony Nex 5T with Zeiss 16-70 lens.
